Behind every great dream lies a story of patience, perseverance, and passion. Amazir Lee, 40, from Seine-et-Marne, is living proof of this truth. A former gardener and father of four, Lee long kept a dream to himself: working in cinema.
Since childhood, he has been fascinated by the arts.
“Ever since I was little, I’ve been passionate about cinema. It was a dream I preferred to keep in a corner of my mind,” he recalls.
Balancing personal responsibilities and his work as a gardener, Lee found refuge in his imagination, dreaming of manipulating images and sounds to tell stories.
In 2023, driven by this passion and unwavering determination, he decided to take the leap. His early video editing projects, often done in his spare time, quickly revealed his talent. He combined images and sequences with an innate sense of rhythm and storytelling.
“I didn’t know if I had talent, but I had passion in me,” he remembers.
His work caught the attention of Mason Ewing Corporation, leading him to join Ewing Power Production, the company’s audiovisual branch. Since then, Amazir Lee has contributed to remarkable projects, including the documentary Souvenir de Guerre, produced, directed, and written by Mason Ewing between 2025 and 2026.
The young French editor has no intention of stopping there. Several film and TV series projects are in the works, and he actively collaborates with Holotech Records on innovative music video edits.
His biggest dream? Moving to the United States, to Los Angeles, continuing his work with Ewing Power Production, and one day producing his own films while mentoring the next generation of filmmakers in Atlanta.
Amazir Lee’s story is more than a professional journey; it’s a message to the youth of Cameroon and beyond: nothing is impossible if you believe in your dreams. Through creativity, discipline, and passion, he proves that talent often reveals itself to those bold enough to take the leap.
